Woohoo! Bambi meets Godzilla!
I saw this a long time ago on HBO as a prequel to whatever their feature was... and just found it on youtube! I love the credits at the beginning... pay close attention or you'll miss one of the funniest parts...
Haven't seen "Bambi's Revenge" - searched on YouTube, but no luck (9 hits, but nothing looked like what you probably meant).
I did find Hardware Wars, though... I think I've seen it before. Some of it, anyway... not sure I saw the whole thing. Also not sure if that's the same one you meant.
If you haven't seen it, Thumb Wars & Thumbtanic was kind of funny... especially the first few moments of Thumbtanic when they're sending sub-rovers through the wreck... in fact, I don't remember much beyond that, but that was funny (if you want, I can describe that part in order to save you the trouble of renting it, but I didn't want to just put it out there before you asked in order not to spoil it in case you want to rent it).
Ok now that was just weird. Why did you have to go and smush Bambi? Don't you know I cried for like a week after watching Bambi.
ReplyDeleteI didn't smush Bambi... it was Marv Newland. Who was produced by Mr. & Mrs. Newland.
ReplyDeleteWe have that on VHS, along with Hardware Wars and other spoofs. Have you seen "Bambi's Revenge", the sequel?

I've seen Thumb Wars; didn't appreciate the vulgar parts, but other parts were funny. I can do without Thumbtanic.
ReplyDeleteBambi's revenge was done in the same style as the first; animated and possibly by Marv Newman tho' I'm not sure on that.
