I was helping a dinosaur who lived alone design a rebuild of a water "thing" (sort of a flowing water tower) to include two wheels to generate a small amount of electricity. I think this was to help the dinosaur be a little happier, and to avoid having the dinosaur eat me.

Before the Fall a dinosaur wouldn't have eaten you. So, I guess your dream was happening during that time.
No, I was helping the dinosaur to prevent having it eat me; if I'd not been of service to it, I fear I might have served as lunch, hence my great desire to help the thing with its task at hand.
So, you're saying Dinos are only hungry in the Spring, after a long hibernation? :)
